What we collect

Who sees what
Sellers see the orders placed with them: what was bought, the delivery address and the recipient's phone number, because they cannot send a parcel otherwise. They do not see your browsing, your searches, your other orders, or anything you bought from anybody else.
Riders and couriers see the delivery address and the recipient's number for the parcel they are carrying, and nothing else.
We see everything above, and use it to run the marketplace, resolve disputes and stop fraud.
Nobody else. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Processors we use
- Safaricom (M-Pesa) — takes the payment. They see the amount and the paying number.
- Africa's Talking — sends the texts. They see the number and the message.
- Cloudflare — stores product images and stream recordings.
Your controls
Turning a signal off in What you see stops it being used, not just hidden. Deleting your history deletes the rows.
How long we keep it
Orders, payments and invoices are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. Browsing and search history is kept until you delete it. Sign-in codes are deleted once used or expired. Stream recordings are kept for 30 days unless a seller keeps them longer.
Deleting your account
Ask us and we will delete your account. Your orders are anonymised rather than removed, because we are required to keep the financial record — but your name, number, addresses and history go.
